The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Main 2025 on November 11, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check and download their results from the official UPSC website — upsc.gov.in.
According to the official notice, a total of 2,736 candidates have successfully qualified for the next phase of the recruitment process — the Personality Test (Interview). The Commission has withheld the results of three candidates due to pending court cases.
How to Download the UPSC CSE Mains Result 2025
Candidates can access their results by following these steps:
- Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
- Click on the link titled “Written Result – Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2025” available on the homepage.
- The result PDF containing the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates will appear on the screen.
- Use the “Find” option (Ctrl + F) to search for your roll number.
- Download and save the PDF for future reference.
Documents Required for the Personality Test
Qualified candidates must present their original certificates during the interview round. These documents include proof of educational qualifications, community or category certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), PwBD status (if applicable), and any other eligibility-related certificates. Candidates should also carry the Travel Allowance (TA) form and other relevant documents as mentioned by UPSC.
The Commission has further directed candidates who have already uploaded their documents online to log in again and verify their details. This verification process is mandatory for the generation of the e-summon letter for the Personality Test.
Important Instructions
UPSC has clarified that no changes will be accepted in the information provided in the Online Application Form (OAF). However, candidates can inform the Commission of any updates in their address or contact information by sending a written request or email to csm-upsc@nic.in.
