The AIC π-Hub, the incubation centre of the Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), is set to mentor schools and student teams from Indore and Ujjain for the upcoming Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025. The nationwide event, scheduled for October 13, is being organised by the Ministry of Education and the Atal Innovation Mission to encourage young minds to develop innovative, home-grown solutions for India’s progress.
Through its strong network of partner institutions — including Homi Bhabha National Institute, Ujjain Engineering College, Acropolis Innovation & Incubation Hub, and Medicaps Innovation & Incubation Foundation — AIC π-Hub is providing mentorship, training, and technical guidance to school teams in the region.
More than one crore students from over 1.5 lakh schools across India are expected to participate in the Buildathon. Participants will work on projects inspired by national development themes such as Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, Vocal for Local, and Samriddhi Bharat.
Mentors at AIC π-Hub are helping students not only with the technical aspects but also in identifying community challenges, applying design thinking, and converting ideas into practical prototypes.
“Our goal is to guide students from concept to implementation so that their innovations create real-world impact,” said Dr. C.P. Paul, Head of AIC π-Hub.
Schools are currently registering their teams through the official portal, with the deadline set for October 6. Following registration, teachers will continue mentoring the teams, while AIC π-Hub will provide advanced inputs and review support.
The live innovation session on October 13 will last for two hours, after which the best entries will be shortlisted for evaluation at district, state, and national levels. The top 1,000 innovators will be felicitated on Republic Day 2026.
With its focused mentorship and collaborative ecosystem, AIC π-Hub is playing a key role in nurturing innovation among young students and contributing to India’s journey towards becoming a self-reliant, innovation-driven nation.
