Patna, 28 September 2026: An Antakshari Competition was organized for the students of the IARI Patna Hub as part of the ongoing Reform Utsav-cum-Hindi Fortnight-2026 at the ICAR–Research Complex for Eastern Region (ICAR-RCER), Patna.
Three teams participated in the competition, which featured Hindi film songs, quick recall, creativity, team spirit, and general knowledge related to Hindi cinema and major film awards. Dr. Kamal Sarma, Head, Division of Livestock & Fisheries Management; Dr. Shivani, Principal Scientist; Dr. Abhishek Kumar, Scientist (Senior Scale); and Umesh Kumar Mishra, Senior Technical Assistant (Hindi Translator), judged the competition.
The judges appreciated all the teams’ performances and noted that such activities help promote the Hindi language, communication skills, cultural awareness, and teamwork among students.
Dr. Anup Das, Director, ICAR-RCER, Patna, in his message, said that such interactive activities make Hindi learning enjoyable, meaningful, and participatory for students. He emphasized that such initiatives not only strengthen students’ interest in Hindi but also encourage creativity, confidence, communication skills, and team spirit.
The first-, second-, and third-prize-winning teams will be felicitated at the Closing-cum-Prize Distribution Ceremony to be held on 29 September 2026.
