The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has released a revised timetable for Round 1 of NEET UG 2025 counselling after delays disrupted the original process. The updated schedule, published on August 22, applies to admissions in MBBS and BDS programmes across state-run and private medical and dental colleges.
According to the revised plan, the Round 1 seat allotment result will be declared today on the official website, wbmcc.nic.in. Candidates who secure seats will soon be required to report to their allotted colleges and complete admission formalities, with exact dates for reporting and document verification to be notified shortly.
Reason for Revision
The initial counselling timeline faced setbacks due to administrative lapses and technical problems on the WBMCC portal, causing uncertainty for thousands of aspirants.
