Asia Cup 2025 : The 2025 edition of the Men’s Asia Cup will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 9 to 28, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) confirmed following its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on July 24.
ACC President and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi officially announced via social media that the tournament will feature eight teams, which is two more than the previous edition, and will be played in the T20 format as preparation for the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
The highly anticipated India vs Pakistan clash is scheduled for September 14, marking their first face-off since April’s diplomatic strain between the nations.
“The prestigious tournament will take place from September 9 to 28. We look forward to a spectacular display of cricket,” Naqvi posted on X (formerly Twitter).
