Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to lay the foundation stone for a range of development projects in Warangal, Telangana, on July 8, as confirmed by Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy. The Prime Minister’s visit will commence with a visit to the renowned Bhadrakali temple, followed by various events and a public meeting where he will address the attendees.
During a press briefing in Warangal, the Union Minister expressed his delight in conveying the news that the Central Government has approved the establishment of a wagon manufacturing unit in the city. The proposed unit, endorsed by the Government of India, will have the capacity to produce 200 wagons per month. Further details regarding the unit’s cost, employment opportunities, and other specifics will be announced in due course.
Moreover, the Union Minister stated that Warangal will also witness the establishment of a periodic overhauling unit alongside the wagon manufacturing unit. This development will further contribute to the region’s growth and infrastructure enhancement.
The Prime Minister has graciously accepted the responsibility of performing the ‘bhumi puja’ (ground-breaking ceremony) for the wagon manufacturing unit, underscoring the government’s commitment to the progress and prosperity of Warangal.
In addition to the wagon manufacturing unit, the foundation stone will also be laid for various National Highway projects, as part of the comprehensive development agenda for Warangal.
Addressing recent allegations made by the BRS government in Telangana, the Union Minister emphasized that the NDA government led by Prime Minister Modi does not discriminate among states. He denounced the false campaign propagated by the state government and reiterated the commitment of the Central Government to treat all states equally, ensuring equitable development across the nation.
