In a landmark event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects totalling over Rs 19,100 crores in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The projects span crucial sectors such as rail, road, oil and gas, urban development, and housing, marking a significant step towards regional growth and national progress.
Expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support from the people of Bulandshahr, especially the women who turned up in large numbers, PM Modi highlighted the importance of the projects. These initiatives include railway and highway development, petroleum pipelines, medical colleges, sewage, water, and industrial townships, showcasing a commitment to comprehensive progress.
PM Modi acknowledged the contributions of leaders like Kalyan Singh, emphasizing the significance of realizing their dreams. Referring to recent developments in Ayodhya and the completion of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, he underscored the need to prioritize ‘Rashtra Pratishtha‘ for the nation’s advancement.
Addressing historical regional imbalances, the Prime Minister criticized past neglect of Uttar Pradesh, emphasizing the state’s pivotal role in national strength. He credited the double-engine government in Uttar Pradesh since 2017 for addressing old challenges, boosting economic development, and spearheading projects such as defence corridors and national highways.
PM Modi highlighted the government’s commitment to enhancing connectivity through modern expressways, the NaMo Bharat train project, and metro connectivity. He also lauded the upcoming Jewar Airport, emphasizing its potential to elevate the region’s strength and development.
The Prime Minister emphasized the evolving role of Western Uttar Pradesh as a major job provider in the country. He inaugurated the Greater Noida Industrial Smart City, foreseeing its positive impact on industries, small businesses, agro-based enterprises, and local communities.
Dwelling on agriculture, PM Modi discussed the positive outcomes of government policies, such as increased sugarcane prices, quick payment to farmers, and the focus on ethanol production. He reiterated the government’s commitment to farmers’ welfare, emphasizing the availability of low-cost fertilizers and the transfer of funds under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.
PM Modi highlighted the importance of cooperatives, including PACs, cooperative societies, and FPOs, in strengthening small farmers. He mentioned significant storage-related schemes and outlined plans for modernizing the farming sector, with a special emphasis on Nari Shakti through the NaMo Drone Didi initiative.
The Prime Minister enumerated several public welfare schemes undertaken in the last decade, spanning housing, sanitation, water connections, pensions, crop insurance, and healthcare. He reassured citizens of the government’s commitment to ensuring that the benefits of these schemes reach every beneficiary, promoting true secularism and social justice.
In conclusion, PM Modi declared, “For me, you are my family. Your dream is my resolution.” He reiterated that his wealth lies in the empowerment of the common families of the nation, pledging to continue the campaign for the empowerment of villages, the poor, youth, women, and farmers.
