In a major step toward building an AI-empowered India, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) on Tuesday (November 18, 2025) launched ‘YUVA AI for ALL’, a free national-level course designed to help citizens understand the basics of Artificial Intelligence. The initiative, rolled out under the IndiaAI Mission, aims to equip one crore (10 million) people with essential AI skills.
The self-paced course takes 4.5 hours to complete and simplifies complex AI concepts into easy-to-understand lessons designed specifically for Indian learners. Students, working professionals, and anyone interested in technology can access the programme through multiple platforms, including FutureSkills Prime, iGOT Karmayogi, and other educational technology portals.
Upon completion, participants will receive an official Government of India certification, adding a recognised credential to their professional portfolio.
What Learners Will Gain
The curriculum spans six comprehensive modules covering fundamental aspects of artificial intelligence. Participants will understand the core principles of AI technology and its practical applications in everyday life. The course examines how AI is reshaping sectors like education and creative industries while emphasizing safe and ethical usage of AI tools.
