
The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is set to release the admit card for the Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) preliminary examination 2025 a few days before the test date. Candidates who have registered for the recruitment drive will be able to download their hall tickets either through the LIC’s official website, licindia.in, or the IBPS portal, ibpsonline.ibps.in.
The admit card will carry crucial details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre address, date and time of the examination, and important guidelines. Applicants must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof like Aadhaar, PAN, passport, driving licence, or EPIC on the exam day. Without these documents, entry to the examination hall will not be permitted.

- Visit licindia.in or ibpsonline.ibps.in.
- Go to the “Careers” or “AAO Recruitment 2025” section.
- Click on the admit card download link.
- Enter your registration number, password, and security code.
- Download and print the hall ticket for future use.
Exam Pattern for Prelims
The preliminary test will be held online and include three sections:
- Reasoning Ability: 35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes
- Quantitative Aptitude: 35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes
- English Language: 30 questions, 30 marks, 20 minutes
Total: 100 questions, 100 marks, duration of 60 minutes
Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks to advance to the mains examination.
Recruitment Drive and Vacancies
This year, LIC has announced 760 vacancies for both generalist and specialist posts. These include 350 posts for generalists and 410 for specialists such as Chartered Accountants, Actuarials, Insurance Specialists, Legal professionals, and Company Secretaries.
