In the national capital, New Delhi, temperatures are expected to soar, ranging between 39 to 26 degrees Celsius. The IMD predicts persistent heatwave conditions in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, with similar forecasts extending into the coming days.
Wet Spell Ahead for Delhi, Gujarat, and Kerala
Despite the scorching temperatures, relief is in sight for some regions. Delhi anticipates a wet spell from May 10 to May 12, with partly cloudy skies prevailing today. In Gujarat, hot and humid conditions are expected until May 13, while Kerala anticipates showers until May 10.

A cyclonic circulation over Tamil Nadu and a trough extending to South Interior Karnataka are set to bring rainfall, thunderstorms, and gusty winds to Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Telangana, and Karnataka until May 12.
Heavy Showers and Hailstorms on the Horizon
The forecast also includes heavy showers in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala until May 11, with hailstorm activity predicted in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Uttarakhand.

Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are advised to expect wet weather conditions until May 12, as the nation braces for a mix of extreme temperatures and unpredictable weather patterns.
