page9-9-3

In an official tour of Naushera and Rajouri, Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board, visited various Waqf campuses to assess ongoing developmental works and plan future initiatives. Accompanied by senior Waqf officers and Rajouri Administrator Abdul Qayoom Mir, Dr. Andrabi engaged with local communities and discussed the Board’s strategies for the region.

Transformation and Development in J&K

Addressing media representatives in Rajouri, Dr. Andrabi hailed the significant improvements in Jammu and Kashmir since 2019, emphasizing a remarkable shift from turmoil to tranquility. “The entire J&K region now resonates with discussions on development and progress, replacing the erstwhile narratives of daily shutdowns, violence, and unrest,” she affirmed.

Condemnation of Dynastic Politics

Dr. Andrabi did not mince words when condemning the role of dynastic politicians who historically fueled separatist sentiments and perpetuated violence. “These dynasts yearn for the tumultuous past, seeking to revive the bleeding wounds of J&K for their own political gains,” she asserted, highlighting their regressive agendas.

Strengthening Waqf Management

Acknowledging the strides made in reviving the Sufi spiritual tradition across the Union Territory, Dr. Andrabi underscored the Waqf Board’s accomplishments in streamlining management systems and enhancing transparency. “The Waqf Board’s efforts have revitalized Sufi spiritual centers throughout J&K, contributing to the cultural and spiritual heritage of the region,” she affirmed.

Promoting Peace and Harmony

Dr. Andrabi’s visit to Naushera and Rajouri not only focused on infrastructural development but also emphasized fostering peace and communal harmony. Through interactions with public delegations and diverse communities, she reiterated the importance of unity in forging a prosperous future for Jammu and Kashmir.

Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi’s commitment to revitalizing Sufi spiritual traditions and promoting development underscores a renewed era of progress and peace in Jammu and Kashmir. As the region continues on its path of transformation, initiatives led by the J&K Waqf Board promise a brighter future for all its residents.
