The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the examination schedule for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate-level posts. Candidates who have applied for the RRB NTPC 2025 recruitment drive can now check their exam schedule through the respective RRB websites.

As per the official announcement, the first phase of the NTPC 2025 exam will be conducted from June 5 to June 23, 2025, across multiple examination centers in India. The board will activate the link to view the exam city and date, as well as download travel passes for SC/ST candidates, 10 days prior to the examination. Aspirants are advised to regularly check the official RRB portals for the latest updates and notifications.

RRB NTPC 2025: Exam Pattern

The recruitment exam will be conducted in two stages. The first stage CBT, which is common for all advertised positions, will have a duration of 90 minutes and will include a total of 90 questions—divided into 30 questions each for Mathematics and General Intelligence & Reasoning, and 40 questions for General Awareness.

Candidates who clear the first stage will be eligible for the second stage CBT, which will also last for 90 minutes. This round will consist of 120 questions, with 50 from General Awareness, 35 from Mathematics, and 35 from General Intelligence & Reasoning.

Recruitment Details

The RRB NTPC 2025 recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 11,558 vacancies, out of which 8,113 are for graduate-level positions and 3,445 for 12th-pass (undergraduate) roles. The recruitment process has witnessed massive interest, with over 1.21 crore applications received. Specifically, 58.4 lakh candidates applied for graduate-level posts, while 63.2 lakh candidates have applied for 12th-level positions.
