Jaipur Earthquake Update: In the early hours of Friday (July 21), Jaipur experienced a series of earthquakes within a span of half an hour, causing momentary panic among residents. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the latest earthquake of magnitude 3.4 struck at approximately 4:25 am IST. The NCS reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.

The NCS promptly tweeted the details of the seismic activity, stating, “Earthquake of Magnitude:3.4, Occurred on 21-07-2023, 04:25:33 IST, Lat: 26.87 & Long: 75.69, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.”

The NCS promptly tweeted about these events as well, providing the details of each seismic activity and its exact time and location.

Fortunately, no reports of casualties or damages have been reported as of now. The earthquakes, though unsettling, did not result in any major harm to life or property.

Reacting to the tremors, former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje, took to Twitter to express her concern and solidarity with the people of Jaipur. She tweeted, “Earthquake tremors have been felt at other places in the state, including Jaipur. I hope you all are safe!”

Earthquakes are not uncommon in India, and the country is situated in a seismically active zone. The NCS and other relevant authorities constantly monitor seismic activities and provide timely updates to ensure the safety and preparedness of the affected regions.

Residents of Jaipur are urged to remain cautious and stay informed about any further updates from the NCS and local authorities. It is crucial to be prepared for such natural occurrences and follow safety guidelines to minimize any potential risks.
