IIT Kanpur has recently announced a collaborative effort with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to introduce a specialized 2-week certification program in Python programming. This initiative is designed specifically for engineering graduates and aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of Python, a widely utilized programming language.
Scheduled to commence on July 26, 2023, and conclude on August 6, 2023, the certification program will cover fundamental and advanced concepts of Python programming. Python is recognized for its versatility and is extensively used in the development of intelligent and data-intensive systems. This program will spotlight Python’s applications in addressing challenges in the fields of Machine Learning and Data Science.
Applicants interested in participating in this program must submit their applications by July 30, 2023. The certification program includes a diverse range of learning components, such as online lectures conducted by subject matter experts, hands-on training experiences, and an online lab segment. Participants will have access to an array of materials and resources emphasizing internships and research-related problem-solving.
The collaborative effort involves several prestigious institutions, including the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna, NIT Warangal, MNIT Jaipur, Malaviya National Institute of Technology, NIT Patna, and the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design, Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jaipur.
Distinguished speakers contributing to this program include Dr. Amey Karkare from IIT Kanpur, A. Allahbaksh from Infosys, Dr. Atul Gupta from IIITDM Jabalpur, and Dr. Ashish V. Tendulkar from Google Research.
