According to the Hindu Panchang, Amavasya Tithi begins at 3:44 PM on October 20, 2025, and ends at 5:54 PM on October 21, 2025. Since the Amavasya Tithi prevails during the evening of October 20, Diwali celebrations, including Lakshmi Puja, will take place on October 20, 2025.

During this auspicious period, devotees perform Lakshmi Puja to seek the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth, prosperity, and happiness.

Significance of Diwali
