Iridium ranks second at about $4,150 per ounce (₹34,800 per gram). Extremely rare and resistant to heat and corrosion, it’s used in spark plugs, electronics, and medical devices.
Palladium trades near $1,100–$1,200 per ounce (₹9,240–₹10,080 per gram). Around 30 times rarer than gold, it’s heavily used in gasoline catalytic converters, driving strong demand.
Gold trades at around $4,300 per troy ounce (₹3.90 lakh per 10 grams). A global safe haven for investment and jewelry, its durability and cultural value keep demand steady worldwide.
Platinum trades at around $1,750 per troy ounce (₹1.47 lakh per 10 grams or ₹14,700 per gram). Rarer than gold, it’s used in diesel catalytic converters, luxury jewelry, and fuel cells tied to green tech.
