Store whole lemons in a ziplock bag or airtight container in the fridge. This keeps them fresh for up to 4 weeks by reducing air exposure.
Rubbing lemons with a little olive oil seals their skin and prevents moisture loss. Keep them in the refrigerator for longer shelf life.
Slice lemons or squeeze the juice into ice cube trays and freeze. It’s a great way to preserve them for months without spoilage.
Wrap the cut side with cling film or store in a sealed container. This prevents drying and odor absorption, lasting 3–4 days in the fridge.
Submerge whole lemons in a water, filled bowl and refrigerate. Change the water every 2–3 days to keep them fresh and hydrated.
